The World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle marks the third edition of this prestigious red-ball ICC competition. The World Test Championship will commence with Australia facing England in a five-match Test series for the Ashes, from June 16 to July 31.

Much like previous editions, the World Test Championship 2023-25 will span two years, featuring 67 matches in the group phase followed by a one-off final for the coveted mace. A major highlight is the five-match series in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where Australia will host India. Notably, the two sides agreed to play two sets of five Test matches until 2027.

India, Australia, and England will play the most matches in this World Test Championship cycle, with 20, 21, and 22 games, respectively. The top two teams in the World Test Championship 2023-25 Points Table will qualify for the final clash.
